As a Solar Apprentice, you will be immersed in the exciting world of photovoltaic technology, working alongside seasoned professionals to install and maintain residential solar systems. This entry-level position is perfect for those passionate about renewable energy and eager to start a career in the solar industry.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the setup and installation of residential solar systems under the supervision of experienced technicians
- Learn the fundamentals of solar panel system components and installation techniques.
- Help with the maintenance and troubleshooting
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures
- Participate in trainings and workshops
- Maintain tools and equipment
Must Have
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Desire to pursue further education in solar
- Keen interest in renewable energy and tech
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to perform physical tasks and work outdoors
- Effective communication skills
- Valid driver’s license
Nice to have
- Ability to engage with customers
- NABCEP PVA Certification (or similar)
- Google Adwords experience
- Strong analytical skills
